Avance Academy LLP, formerly known as Kerudite Training Institute LLP, was founded in 2017 with the goal of providing experienced and qualified trainers for Workforce Skills Qualification (WSQ) courses offered by SSG approved Training Providers (TPs). From 2017 to 2019, our trainers were largely conducting courses on leadership and people management, leadership in service sector, change management, and organisational development as we grew our experience and familiarity with the WSQ training and assessment system.

We realised that there are many good quality WSQ courses in the market that are not reaching their intended audiences – existing and potential employees of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs)

From the second half of 2019, we began to shift our business focus to looking at how we can contribute to the upskilling of our respective industries’ workforce more meaningfully. We went into the work of assisting property management and maintenance firms to conduct training needs analyses and match their training needs to existing funded courses in the market so that they can tap on available funding and quality training curricula to invest in their employees’ upgrading. Since then, we have helped to match around 1,000 company-sponsored learners to courses that suit their training needs for our clients; and in turn our clients have introduced us to more clients beyond this industry (such as the tenants in their properties). With our strong focus on business-to-business training matching services, we differentiated ourselves from other channel partners servicing TPs in the individual learners’ market; and further grew our understanding of the training and upskilling scene.
